The modern and comfortable "Tecla" low shoe from Berkemann is characterised by function, comfort and sporty look. Special comfort feature: the soft-padded stretch insert in the forefoot area, which relieves common foot discomfort such as pressure and chafing easily and immediately. Due to its high flexibility and additional soft padding, the stretch material acts against material tensions and friction, such as solid leather, which can be created against stress areas on the foot. Thanks to the partial stretch insert in the forefoot area, "Tecla" is ideal for discomfort caused by corns, claw or hammer toes. The zip used in this model not only looks trendy, but also simplifies handling when getting in and out. All comfort models of the stretch line from Berkemann have practical interchangeable footbeds and are therefore particularly suitable for wearers of sports and individual insoles as well as for orthopaedic measuring insoles. The original 5-phase footbed, with which all Berkemann models are equipped, is based on the Berkemann original gymnastics sandal developed in the 1950s by foot orthopaedists. Developed over the decades and always adapted to the latest foot orthopaedic findings, the operating principles of the original 5-phase footbed have remained the same over time: the active support of the natural rolling process when walking and the passive support of the foot anatomy when standing. In addition, this footbed stimulates and trains the foot and calf muscles, activates the vein flap function, dampens the performance energy, protects the joints and thus has a positive effect on the entire musculoskeletal system. All comfortable shoe models of the stretch line from Berkemann, as well as this, have practical interchangeable footbeds and are therefore particularly suitable for wearers of sports and individual insoles as well as for orthopaedic measurement insoles. This Berkemann comfort model features a high-quality dual-density sole made of two components. The TPU used for the outsole ensures rubber-like elasticity and anti-slip properties as well as high tear and abrasion resistance. At the same time, the water-driven and therefore environmentally friendly produced PU in the midsole has cushioning effect by absorbing impact energy. Berkemann comfort shoes are designed and developed in Germany and are also made from European materials at Berkemann's own production facilities in Hungary.
